    Default Consultation period

Is it within legal procedure to tell people they are moving to their new TUPE'd office and position before their 30 day consultation period is over, even if the move date is also the 30th day of their consultation period.

    Hi

Your employer must also consult you or your representatives if there's going to be a transfer of business ownership

Stautory TUPE regulations do not impose a specific time scale for consultation to last. However, the consultation must be meaningful and allow sufficient time for the representatives to consider the proposals.
