On the 12th June I was told that the small firm I worked for had started a consultaion period regarding redundancy. I was told to go home and that a letter would be sent to me. Letter arrived on the 16th June asking me to attend a meeting on the 19th June which I attened and was told that I was being made redundant.
The firm employs 20 people and 3 have been made redundant.
Is 1 week long enough for a consultaion period?
