There are four of us in a pool and one is proposed to be redunant.
I asked my employer if i could know my own score. He said No he will only disclose your score if it is you that is made redunant. I want to know my score regardless of whether its me this time or not. should there be more in the future i want to know how i can improve etc. When i asked why he cannot tell me he simply answered 'legislation'. Is he in his rights to hold this info from me? ARe you only enititled to see your score if it is you that is to be made redundant? or can you ask to see it anyway and do they have to justify how the score was established. are they lying and they just dont want to tell me and are hiding behind false legislation.

If they provisionally select you for redundancy for example actually pick you out of the group and say you are now at risk then you are entitled to see this information. But if you haven't been selected then I don't think you need to know really just thank your lucky stars your ok. You are not entitled to see your scores I don't think if your not selected, I'm fairly sure of that.
But don't worry yourself about improving your scores if it happens again because if they are anything like my company they will make it up and hope you don't challenge it. In 2007 I tried this after nearly loosing my job (selected) and hear I am in 2009 when I tried to improve my scores etc and they have selected me again. They will probably do as they like, sorry. They either want you or they don't, very harsh but I am a realist with experience.
Don't get me wrong I'm sure some companies are fair but there are many that are devious and wrong.
