OK, If i have announced that i need 16 people to go out of the business and im asking for volunteers first, and if i dont get enough people i offer an additional 1 months salary, and still if i dont get enough people i will have to go down the compulsary route based on the following 5 criteria:
1. Attendance & Punctuality
2. Work Performance
3. Skills & Competence
4. Disciplinary Record
5. Length of Service (All things being equal)
And i have one person doing a role in the company isnt in a group of people, can i just forget about the selction criteria for this one person and just say that i need to get rid of you because its an executive decision - but i havent got any paperwork to back this up. Is this ok to do?
