Unfair Redundancy and no payment I was made redundant on 27 January (an individual redundancy). I have appealed on the grounds that it wasn't a genuine redundancy and I didn't believe a fair procedure was followed. Additionally I was virtually bullied through the procedure by the manager who held the so called consultation. He failed to consult with me re: payment due, failed to explain this in my redundancy letter and when I tried to ask he ordered me to leave the premises and if I didn't he would take this as my wilful refusal to leave the premises and would call the police on me. It is getting on for almost a month since I was made redundant and despite my chasing my ex employer for details of payments due to me and when I will be paid the same they are simply ignoring my e-mailed requests. I hand delivered my appeal letter to them on 5 February but no appeal meeting has been arranged as yet. I am unsure as to what is classed as a reasonable amount of time to give them to arrange an apeal meeting and with respect to payment due to me, I thought they were supposed to make this either on the last day of employment or as soon as possible thereafter?
