    Default

It depends whether the employee's contract allows you to pay PILON or not.

Termination payments and benefits: payments in lieu of notice (PILONs) and gardening leave: general

(Any employment law and legal advice I submit to Redundancy Forum is given in good faith without any further liability or obligation).
