I was asked this question by a UK friend of mine last week and as an intern lawyer, I felt obliged to find out where one person spoke how legally you are entitled to a lump sum but just be careful because pushing for payment in full could bankrupt the business and if it goes bust you won't get any redundancy in installments or any other way.
What is the situation over there in UK?
